We seem to somehow have a decent manager and some good player signings, with more likely. Has this off-season changed anyone's views of the owners since the scenes last season?
Genuine question.

not yet, there's still loads of time for them to get rid a couple of our better players

Their lies and bullshit for the past 3 years do not go away because they have signed a couple of players.
I shall give them credit for getting in Pellergrini though. But that doesn't balance out the things they have done wrong.

Shamed into doing the bare minimum by the fans and the media.
They care about their egos and their pocket. Nothing else. The battle for them is to trade the two off to their satisfaction..

Credit where it's due. A massive well done to the owners, this has become our most spectacular window of all time.
But don't forget Burnley.

Keep it up, Dildos. It’s the right direction, but you still owe us loads more.

Takes a bit to destroy trust with me because I give people a fair number of chances but they had started to do a pretty good job.
Steady building is what I want from them. This is more than that, all at once, we will see how it works out. And what the years bring.

Club spy please tell Dave, Dave and Tits McGhee that had they treated the fans with the respect they deserved, and the club with the respect it deserves as a good PL side by spending this sort of money in the past few years then they may well have had their dream (lies) of challenging for a CL place by now.

It's a good start to getting back onside, at least as far as the team/football side of the business is concerned.
For once backing up their words with actions and have actually been quiet all summer and just let the footballing people seemingly get on with football business.
Strong moves in the transfer market, although there might be some departures we may not be thrilled about so best to judge when the window shuts.
With regard to the non footballing side of the business, I think there's still A LOT of making up to do. Although having a successful team will mitigate bad feeling toward other aspects of how the club is run.
I am finding it hard to fault the transfer dealings thus far. If it carries on like this I shall be very impressed.

Trevor B - Hey, I don't post often, but pretty regular lurker. Not linked to the board in any way - had to move out of Essex, so not many other hammers up here to gauge the mood from.

There is absolutely NO way they wont recoup most of this spend.
It is their business model they have always operated.
I'd love to be proved wrong but people successful in business wont change their ways
